battery terminal help

i just went to added my live wire to the battery and found i had this clamp thing on there how do i get round this to added the amp live wire please.

pull the plastic bit of the clamp and it comes off

what the red plastic bit that on the live terminal and then what please.

then thats it, just pull it up to unclamp it

Unclamp it and then remove the clamp and replace with a MULTI-CLAMP from Halfords, this will then allow you to wire your original wire to new clamp and your AMP wire to it.
