i would like to invite some southern members to our redline mag shoot today, i know its late notice but if you live locally and want to come then just turn up
TO ARRIVE AT NEWHAVEN BEACH EASTBOURNE EAST SUSSEX BY 12PM
Meet at Pease Pottage Services (Main carpark) at 10:30 to leave at 10:45. These are located on the M23, follow the signs for the services, they're the only ones on the M23!
Arrive at Waterhall by 11:15 to leave no later than 11:30.
Waterhall is located just off the bottom of the A23 by the BP garage (Used to be a Q8). At the massive roundabout follow the road as if you were going into the petrol station (around to the right if coming down the A23) but drive past the entrance, go under the railway bridge and take the first right. Go under that bridge and you're there!
Anyone arriving later than 11:30 will have to make their own way there!
Alternatively, if you wish to make your own way there, the directions from Brighton are below.
Directions are from the A27 in Brighton, heading East. This is signposted Eastbourne, Newhaven and Lewes.
Follow the A27 past Lewes. Go over the railway crossing and watch your speed - 40mph zone and speed cameras!
After the railway level crossing.....
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A26 (signposted Newhaven, Seaford)
Continue forward onto New Road - A26. Entering Newhaven
At mini-roundabout (you will have just driven under a bridge) turn right onto Drove Road - A259 (signposted Newhaven)
Bear left onto South Way and stay in the left hand lane (one way system) - A259
At traffic signals turn left onto South Road (signposted West Quay) This is by the Police Station and opposite a multi storey car park
Continue forward onto Fort Road (just keep going)
Keep going until you see the beach!
Please note that when you arrive you should be driving with the river on your left, heading towards the sea.
