Ok Today I realised that deadlocking (that is locking so that the car cannot be opened from the inside) is activated with the first push of the keyfob and pressing it again activates normal locks. Ive not been deadlocking it the whole time!
Surely its one press for normal locking and 2 presses for deadlocking?
nope if you rtfm it says that the first is deadlocks then the second is so people inside can get out.

I always pressed it twice as I thought it was sort of 'security levels' ,I dont see the point anyway on a car with no alarm as you can climb through the massive window.

I've always just pressed the fob once, out of habit more than anything. So I think I'm OK.

In case a miniature thief type person hides in the glovebox waiting for you to get out. Then he rears out, nicks your stereo and HAHAHAHAHAHAH he can't get out. Bless. :?

hmm i suppose it would trap the little blue buggers who hide in the fans and under the car making squeeling noises.

No, don't be silly, they are already outside! Unless deadlocking also creates an invisible laser shield surrounding the car? Hmmm. Yes.
